Animal lives ONLY have value because we give them value.

In the wild, should there be no humans, animals kill and rampage amongst themselves on a daily basis.

Meaning that in the animal kingdom, it is kill or be killed, or die and be food.

It is ONLY in our emotional response to humanizing most animals that we give their lives value.

I happen to agree that the lives of most animals have value, but we cannot allow that to hinder our own survival.
