52% of GOP voters and 41% of Dems want to split the country

I'm torn on the subject...............

Half of Trump voters want red states to secede from the union, and 41% of Biden voters want blue states to split off.

The Democrat Party has split our country.
They work very hard to divide Americans by gender, race, religion, region, class and age.
This can be seen everyday with the Democrat Hate Machine's Press and Hollywood propagandists.
The Democrat Party's corruption, ballot rigging, radicalism, hate and racism is pushing our country towards being a one party neo-marxist totalitarian banana republic.
Everyone can see the Left's failed economic and cultural policies in their dystopian disaster cities.
The Democrats are too corrupt to operate within the bounds of our constitution.
Their economic policies are based upon stealing and the enslavement of workers to government debt.
Their open borders and cancel culture agenda is being done to erase mainstream society who are refusing to submit to the Democrat Radicals and Racists.

Could America be divided peacefully?

I think splitting the country is a big mistake. We can't have a hodgepodge of states as two countries intermixed together. Crossing state lines is going into another country?

And we can't do it east/west. Who would get the east and who would get the west?

And we can't do it north-south. Who would get the north and who would get the south?

THe only reasonable solution is to round up all the far left progressive seditious subversives and give them the fucking boot out of here for good (or worse). Never come back. I want all 50 states and I want them a constitutional, representative republic defined by its LAWS.

Give the Netherlands all our progressives.

I read a fairly chilling piece a couple of years ago that asked, is it possible that it has been so long since we communicated and collaborated like adults that we have literally lost that skill? Is communication like a muscle, use it or lose it?

It's possible. I don't know what saves us from this voluntary trajectory.
The nation does not have to officially split in two to ruin what the founding fathers created

We are so divided that we cannot decide on any policy that everyone could support

I’m encouraged that biden is making an effort to oppose china and defend Taiwan

But at the same time he is still joe biden and I’m not sure we can depend on his word

It should. Things dont work out like that, though. Apparently there is some amendment in the Constitution no one can see except judges that says "the Constitution actually only means what you want it to mean"
Hey it's a living document........wtf does that mean?

Antarctica is unpopulated, send the lefties there......it's pure and the environment has never been harmed.........they'll be so happy.

Its not that we've lost communication skills, we do that at work every day, its that the divide between the two parties has widened and widened. Harry Truman was a conservative democrat, Bill Clinton was a moderate democrat. My recollection is that the democrats had mostly "moderates" and that the "radical socialists" were kept in the closet, otherwise they'd lose elections. Lately, the MSM and Hollywood have been showing the socialists in a good light and conservatives as greedy bastards.
Bottom line: Its not that we've lost communication skills, its that the policy differences have become so extreme that there is no acceptable compromise or "middle ground".

Really all that needs to happen is let conservative states and liberal states govern themselves instead of a small oligarchy in the White House, the way it was originally designed. Maybe, just maybe, that way half the country won't want to secede every Presidential election

But again, Marxists don't share power in any way, which is why they are into centralize control and detest the Federalism that the Founding Fathers set up and later subverted.

Where is the middle ground with people who are hell bent on world conquest?

We need Antarctica for science research. I'd rather give them to the Norwegians, they are somewhat of a like mind and eventually, they will only fuck that place up too. Kinda like giving the Tribbles to the Klingons.

Not exactly.
"If you look at the entire body of constitutional law, that body of law bears very little resemblance to the text of the Constitution in 1789, 1791, and 1868. . . . That’s the reality. The only useful way to advocate with regard to constitutional law is to give a good contemporary argument for or against a particular interpretation."

Meaning that only the USSC can interpret the Constitution based on the current situation, i.e. interpretations can change.

That's nothing more than tribal egos being unwilling to bend or give an goddamn inch.

Another option would be for the two sides could work together to create something NEW.

We used to be able to do that. Back when we were exceptional.

It is, metaphorically speaking. Thats because of the amendment process. That isnt what federal supremacists refer to, though.
They think it means that it mean whatever someone says it is as long as a judge agrees. Interpretation is bullshit. It either says it or it doesnt. This wasnt written in a dead language..

Judge Posner said that when he decides cases, he does not care what people in the late eighteenth century thought about today’s legal issues or even what the constitutional text says about those problems.3×3. Josh Blackman, Judge Posner on Judging, Birthright Citizenship, and Precedent, JOSH BLACKMAN’S BLOG (Nov. 6, 2015), Josh Blackman » Judge Posner on Judging, Birthright Citizenship, and Precedent [Judge Posner on Judging, Birthright Citizenship, and Precedent | Josh Blackman's Blog]. Professor Blackman, who was in attendance that night (as was this author), posted a blog entry just a few hours after Judge Posner’s remarks faithfully transcribing them. I have checked with Judge Posner and he agrees, at least for the parts of his talk used in this essay, that he was correctly quoted.Show More He remarked that following the Constitution does not mean adhering to its text but instead respecting Supreme Court interpretations of that text. Constitutional law as made by judges, Judge Posner emphasized, is much more about creating rules that make sense today than interpreting an old and often obsolete document.
Ummm thats a load of horseshit. The Founders gave it an amendment process for changing times and attitudes. Not individual interpretation.

First of all, anyone who suggests splitting the country by blue or red are simpletons, that would never work, nor should it. The coastlines are naturally wealthy and have defenses. The reason they're primarily left is they live where propaganda and trendy originates, they don't broadcast fake news & TV out of Tonopah Nevada. Too many rats in the cage, big cities are in a bad way, look at their leadership, for example. Omar, AOC, Pelosi and Xiden for example, them people are nuts.

If you ask me, right takes half the country west, all of Texas & Alaska, and leftists can destroy what's left including Hawaii. If not for TV sets & silicon & internet California would still be red and they wouldn't have poisoned the balance of the west coast any way, west is conservative republic as intended with common sense and Constitution, east is quasi-communist. This will work out well :auiqs.jpg:

Get the fuck out Pelosi types, like music to the ears.
