It was called "Never Cry Wolf", have you seen it? If you haven't, you should. It is based on the life of Farley Mowat, a Canadian environmentalist and writer. A favorite of mine.
He was sent by the government to study the destructive nature of wolves, what he found instead was their importance to nature.
