A violent weekend across Chicago left at least 40 people shot, seven fatally, including at least four teenagers, one just 14 years old, police said Monday morning.

The shootings erupted at a block party and a large park gathering. One man was shot dead sitting in his car at a stoplight and another was gunned down as he stood on a sidewalk, according to authorities.

I understand the left's wanting to defund the police more and more every day. I mean, what is the point of the police arresting people if the libs let them right back out on the street? There is no point to having a police department if you aren't going to let them do their jobs and they shouldn't have to risk their lives arresting the same people over and over. People are fools for even wanting to be a police officer in one of these shithole cities. They should all just walk off the job en masse.
