The original charts didn't have equal scales. The California scale was taller because of the larger numbers in 2020. But came 2021 and 2022, Florida far exceeded California, so I normalized the tops of the charts to 1 death per million population. The bottom (zero) didn't quite line up, but you're not looking at the lowest numbers, but how high the numbers went up California vs Florida.Why is chart in .2 for Florida and .1 for California
One problem with that idea. The "healthy" were dying too. And you would have to lock up either the elderly and those with co-morbidities from the healthy, or lock up the healthy from the elderly and those with co-morbidities.Trying to "flatten the curve" by reducing daily infection count is really really stupid.
Since we never tried to do a full quarantine, then we should never have used masks or social distance, except in elderly homes.
Once you decide not to do full quarantine, then the goal is to spread the infection among the healthy, as fast as possible.
