Maybe - maybe not. You still believe in Nazi-propaganda. More simple: Röhm's SA assisted Hitler in asserting himself against all other politicians and becoming Chancellor. After that, it was no longer needed and was eliminated – and Röhm along with it. Hitler did not want to share power with anyone.
