When I left New York a couple of years ago, Yankee Stadium had for a couple of years, $15 general admission with a beer - find a seat in the upper decks.

I go to minor league games, they are inexpensive and you see some real athletes trying to get better so they can make the next step.

As far as professional team sports, the last event I saw live was over 20 years ago at the old stadium in the Pitts. To me, it just so expensive and such a long drive.
