Of course they do. It's called a voter file. The Republicans have them too - in fact, everyone who ever runs for office, ever, anywhere, uses one.

I know a few quotes out of context sound really super scary when they have the word "database" in them, but this isn't anything new. Keeping track of support is the single most important part of running a campaign.
