I'm not normally into low end liquor, but on my latest trip to Specs Liquor where they regularly hand out samples of new adult beverages on weekends,I tried an Irish Whiskey called 2 Gingers.
At around eighteen bucks for a 750 ml bottle it's probably the cheapest whiskey I've ever liked.
It's described as Smooth, malty and slightly sweet with a tingle of honey and citrus. 2 Gingers woody essence suggests caramel and vanilla to the finish.
It's made in Ireland in the countries oldest continually licensed distillery and aged four years.
I wont comment on the description because I wouldnt say I have a sophisticated palate compared to some. All I know is it's really tasty neat or on ice.
I highly recommend it to the budget conscience whisky drunk!
Bottoms Up!
