I remember watching that movie as a little kid with a buddy of mine, at the discount theatre for $2.50 a ticket. It really surpassed Arnolds bad acting. Somehow you hardly notice it in that one.

Predator 2 would have been a lot better if they had cut the number of f-bombs from Glover by about 99%.

Well written concept, strong casting and a movie that didn't pretend it was trying to reach a wider audience. In many ways it was similar to Terminator, the other Arnold movie worth watching more than once.

While it is certainly a good movie and wroth rewatching on slow days I wouldn't really call it the best of all time. It is, after all, barely sci-fi at all, it's an action movie with a costume.
