I found this one in a local pawn shop this morning. CAI import marking under the barrel.
I probably gave too much at $275.00 but I wanted it.
I always thought that the Colt Police Positive Special was the most perfectly sized .38 special revolver.
I remember CAI (Century Arms International) importing these out of various Latin American countries in the 80s and 90s.
Pretty much all of them were the same way, little to no finish left with worn stocks. This is the latest (date) one I've seen. All I've seen have round butts.
I have another CAI import PPS from SA but it was not marked as to country. The only real difference is it has a lanyard ring.
One thing about both of them, they are very tight.
