A friend who is culling his S&W collection to concentrate on Colts called and offered-up a 1921 .32-20 5" Hand-Ejector (4th model) M&P in trade for a 4.50" M1895 Colt New Navy I had plus $100.00 boot on my end......I jumped on it since I only had $75.00 in the Colt and it was not all that anyway condition wise.
I took the rather tired S&W service stocks off and replaced them with a set of Brit Cogwell & Harrison stocks I had.....It will go nicely with my 1925 Win. M1892 in .32-20.
The holster is interesting as it started out life as a M1883 Reichsrevolver holster then the West Germans reconfigured them for surplus 5" Victory models for police use.....Same frame/barrel length as the .32-20.
