Somebody tell me a show that Taylor Sheridan has his name on that isn't good... Anyway...

I love 1883. But Elsa is what they call a Mary Sue. And, as we note, she would fuck her way across the entire country if she wasn't going to die.

The premise of the series is the Dutton family of Montana. In 1883, the Duttons are on their way to Oregon. Obviously, they don't make it to Oregon. Dutton tells his wife that wherever Elsa dies is where they will stop and make their home. Elsa will die in Montana.

I have to disagree...

The Dutton's were leaving Texas and heading North to find a place to make a life... Oregon was not in their plans... James Dutton impressed Trail Boss (Sam (Mustache rides .25 cents) Elliot in Texas and he then convinced him to ride with the wagon train until they headed west on the Oregon Trail... Safety in numbers and all... As I understand it, they are headed for a Fort and then the Wagon Train will head west and the Duttons will go North...

As far as the young lady and if she live's or dies...
Gonna find out this evening I suppose...

While I'm enjoying the show it can be a little slow.
As with Yellowstone I really like the landscape shots.
I gotta think she'll survive that arrow to the gut,if she doesnt where does the show go from here?
She's pretty much the main character....oh,and she's smoken HOT!!!! Although she does have a tendency to hook up with any swinging dick that smiles at her.

What's sad is there is not going to be a season 2. Because the next show, with a different title, is season 2. Thank you all for offering your views on this great show! Keep em goin...
