He doesn't have the greatest reputation and has faced charges after trying to overthrow the election, though acquitted by the Republican controlled house that attempted to impeach him. It could be something or might be nothing but political BS. Like I said, It is Texas and Ken Paxton is involved.

Dude! I retired a little over 10 years ago at age 60. I have not intention work for anybody or report to work for anybody.

As for the laws in place for the Texas legislature, passed by that body and followed by both parties, I have no idea what was in effect before they skipped town. Texans are an independent bunch of folks. Probably our fault. If it wasn't for Tennesseans, there might not even be a Texas.
