Do the schools in that district have woke teachers and programs? Push gay or trans pride and diversity? If so then that's why they are making such an insane amount of money. Politicians aren't the only people who can be bought to push agendas.

If they don't push the woke shit then it's simply them giving themselves raises and being greedy.

There is nothing wrong with making money and doing well in your job but schools much like firemen or police officers are supposed to be there to serve, support and improve their community. If you're a teacher or a super intendant just for the money then you're in the wrong job.
