When you argue with anti gunners and they start dragging the bodies of victims of mass killers into the discussion, here is a list of 13 studies that looked at how many times guns were used to save lives and stop crimes...this list does not include Dr. Gary Kleck's study that shows around 2.5 million times a year...they are listed in his paper...

Use these numbers to take down their silliness...

At the 42 second mark he goes into the problem with Australia...they don't have mass shooters in Australia because no one has decided to do it after the last 2 which happened after the one where they bought back a lot of weapons...yes...there were two more mass shootings...the one by a Chinese foreign student who was stopped when he could not operate the rifle he brought to his college classes and another one I would have to look up.

All of the factors for a mass shooting are there in Australia...and once some nut job decides to do it it will be really bad...because no one will have a handgun on their person to stop them..

As to gun crime...yes, they have gun crime in Australia right now...it is currently confined to "bikey" gangs, as they call them and foreign immigrant communities...

They are essentially at the American pre 1960s level of gun crime...and just give it time....they will one day be facing a real problem...

At the 50 second mark he says their mass shooting hadn't been beaten...it was beaten by South Korea and Norway...the places of the worst mass shootings in history...

yeah...a lone nut kills some children...their solution...take guns away from all the people who don't commit crimes or commit mass shootings...yeah...real smart...

4:25 makes fun of someone who might come into your home and murder your family...hmmm...considering that it actually does happen...the family in Connectiticut and elsewhere....a gun might have saved the wife and 2 daughters from rape, and murder...but of course since it never happened to this guy...it doesn't happen to anyone...and they still have rape, a lot of it, in Australia...I guess they like their women defenseless so they are easily raped by their men...maybe he can make a joke about that...they have a whole thread about rape in Australia in the Australia forum...

And now to joke about kids accidentally killing kids with unattended guns...funny...can't stop laughing...of course he doesn't realize that the actual number of accidental deaths of children with guns is about 75 per year...or less...out of a country with 310 million, 310 million guns in private hands....
