According to who? Kentucky was not a confederate state, and would have no historical reason to observe it. I am from Kentucky, and I never once heard of anyone observing it,

But yes, it is true that there is not a single Democrat Majority in a single southern state... there were several prior to obama, but... that changed everything. Turns out Americans just do not respond well to socialist Muslims

Perhaps you should try a trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida. There you can hire a guide and learn the art of trolling for Spanish Mackerel.

GOP states, bullshit. The Deep South was controlled by democrats when the Confederate battle flag, not the Confederate States national flag, started seeing a resurgence by becoming part of the state flag in many Southern states, as a protest against forced integration. Previous to the late 50's and 60's, you hardly ever saw a Confederate battle flag in the South, unless it was flying over a Confederate cemetery or a national battlefield park. So many DEMOCRAT state legislatures making the battle flag part of their state flag, was just a stupid idea.

Reality acts as an emetic when you realize the whole racist element of the Deep South emanates from the right wing conservative end of the political spectrum.

It is never relayed to the rubes by their manufacturers of bullshit that Southern Democrats were right wing conservatives half a century ago. Big on defense, down on communism. Big on states rights, down on federal expansionism. Big on guns, down on gun control. Big on lynching uppity negroes, down on civil rights.
