Pure politics. Release bogus data to grab headlines then quietly slash the numbers to realistic numbers. In most cases GREATLY slashing the numbers. In this same jobs report, the December and January job creations numbers were retroactively revised downward by a combined 167,000 jobs.

You don’t accidentally get this kind of miss so many times.

Nonfarm payrolls for December were revised down to 290,000 from 333,000, and January payrolls were revised down to 229,000 from a surprising 353,000, the Labor Department reported Friday. The total revisions for those months resulted in 167,000 fewer jobs than previously reported.

ZH reviewed the latest report a few days ago in its usual thorough and detailed way , and commented that it was the worst ever known for accuracy and honest reporting .
Deliberately fudged and over stated .
Crooked and disgraceful .

Yes, Zero Hedge is my main go-to for economic news.

And they've been doing a stellar job tracking the smoke and mirrors that are the Biden jobs numbers.

Same with the inflation rate. 3% my ass. Everyone knows it’s 10-20% inflation. Factoring in TV’s being lower cost and treating like we buy a new TV every month is just pure manipulation.
