YouTube - 100 Days of "Fair & Balanced"
Fox News is once again showing their "Fair & Balanced" attitude. News my ass.
I do wonder how many of you have seen this:
Fox News gets okay to misinform public, court ruling | Media Reform | CeaseSPIN.org
Fl Appellate Court Rules Media Can Legally Lie
I felt the need to post this after sitting down today and watching Fox News for a couple hours. Withstanding the need to want to club myself in the head with a hammer, I sat and just simply watched. To be honest, I understand that no news organization is unbiased, least not anymore. However, Fox News takes it to a whole different extreme. It would be as if they are allergic to reporting anything good that Obama has done or anything good that a Liberal has done ever.
Also, I have to ask one other question, Who decided it was a good idea to let Glenn Beck out of the Insane Asylum?

The attorneys for Fox, owned by media baron Rupert Murdoch, successfully argued the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves.
Fl Appellate Court Rules Media Can Legally Lie
On February 14, a Florida Appeals court ruled there is absolutely nothing illegal about lying, concealing or distorting information by a major press organization. The court reversed the $425,000 jury verdict in favor of journalist Jane Akre who charged she was pressured by Fox Television management and lawyers to air what she knew and documented to be false information. The ruling basically declares it is technically not against any law, rule, or regulation to deliberately lie or distort the news on a television broadcast.
