Trump bashes tax avoiders who "get away with murder."
This weekend’s bombshell report in the New York Times revealed that Donald Trump claimed a $916 million loss, according to a copy of his 1995 New York state tax return, and that the billionaire Republican presidential nominee might not have paid any federal income tax in nearly two decades as a result.

Trump supporters immediately jumped to the candidate’s defense, calling him a “genius” for the way he has deftly handled the tax code and potentially saved himself hundreds of millions of dollars in tax payments.

Beyond the spin, however, the revelation has opened up Trump to renewed questioning about his reported brilliance in the business world, as well as to charges of hypocrisy.

Turns out Trump has long criticized others for not paying their fair

Trumps not a "tax avoider."

Are you a tax avoider if you take advantage of your deductions? Or an earned income tax credit?

Trump didn't "not pay taxes" he legally took deductions he was entitled to and used tax code and law to his advantage.

I KNOW they know better. They just need an issue to pound into the Low Information Voter "skulls full of mush." They just need an issue.

Some of the gems

August 2015: “A lot of bad people … [are] not paying taxes”

In an interview with TIME, Trump said that he wants “to save the middle class” from their crushing tax burden, pointing criticism to the “hedge fund guys that are making a lot of money that aren’t paying anything” in taxes. “I know a lot of bad people in this country that are making a hell of a lot of money and not paying taxes,” he said. Trump promised to simplify the tax code and make the system fairer.

August 2015: “Hedge fund guys are getting away with murder”

In a followup to his comments to TIME with CBS News, Trump upped the ante on the bashing of certain members of the financial elite. “The hedge fund guys are getting away with murder,” he said. “They’re paying nothing and it’s ridiculous. I want to save the middle class…. The hedge fund guys didn’t build this country. These are guys that shift paper around and they get lucky.”

Since he does pay taxes, more than you or I ever will, he can say what he likes about those that don't pay taxes.

He uses the tax code like every other person with a brain in the US does. He pays as little as he can just like everyone else.

Grow a brain you biased hack.

Right wing logic. Trump is a business genius who is brilliantly using the tax laws to avoid paying anything for nearly two decades. However, If you're poor and don't meet the threshold for paying taxes, you're a worthless societal leech.

He didn't say anything about tax cheats- a reminder

Infamous right-wing sugar daddy ordered to pay $1.1 billion for cheating taxes
Texas businessman Sam Wyly, who has given millions of dollars over the years to conservative causes and politicians, will now have to fork over more than $1 billion to Uncle Sam.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that a federal judge has ordered Wyly to pay $1.1 billion in tax penalties after he was found guilty of using offshore accounts to commit tax fraud.

The problem here is that the 81-year-old Wyly doesn’t have that sort of cash at his disposal anymore — as the Journal notes, the one-time billionaire’s net worth “has fallen to a fraction” of what he owes to the federal government.

"Bad mouthed"? Freaking "bad mouthed"? Where have low information lefties been when Hillary pronounced herself head of the "Bimbo Eruption Squad"? Being "bad mouthed" by the Hillary squad was the least of the worries of victims of Bill Clinton's sexual abuse.
