Florida currently boasts the most concealed carry permits in the nation so it makes the perfect example to draw from. According to the findings of a study done between 2007 to 2011, gun crime in Florida dropped 33% while at the same time conceal carry permits rose 90%.

This study also showed that gun crimes dropped 7% more than crime in general, thus showing there was a slight benefit to having the conceal carry law on the books. Now this study also showed that criminals by percentage used a gun more often when committing a crime, it also showed that same criminals rarely used a legally registered anyway, thus taking away the argument that legal gun ownership causes more gun violence. The conclusion of the study was that at worst conceal carry has had a minimum positive effect and at worst it didn’t have any tangible effect at all.

Notice that the Florida study took a 5 year sample, in looking at other states it seems that the 5 year sample is standard to use so with that in mind it is best that we here in Wisconsin wait a few more years before drawing conclusions from insignificant data.

Therefore, where innocent people are armed, the ODDS of a violent criminal being immediately brought to justice through the effective use of a firearm INCREASES. Where the violent criminal seeks to reduce the likelihood of their injury, they will choose their victim with greater care, out of a concern for their own well being.

This reduces the number of potential victims and THAT reduces the number of crimes.

Gangs are in cities. It has nothing to do with them being democrat. Most cities are democrat because Republican policies aren't very popular with city people. Most people in cities know how bad it would be if everyone carried guns.

I don't see how you can claim guns had anything to do with Florida. I see no reason why it would take 5 years. I think it just happened that in 5 years it went down and now you claim victory. If carrying does all you say then it should go down right away.
