    Short of killing them, there is nothing you can do to keep them away. Coyotes are smart, and they will keep coming until there is nothing for them to come for, or until they're dead. They are a nuisance, and not native to NC. You'de be doing the DNR a favor by shooting them.

    I actually release more fish than I keep, but I do keep enough to feed myself when I'm camping. Wife and daughter aren't into the taste of trout, so keeping them is usually a waste for me.
