I have a D'oh! story for you! Many years ago, I was flown out to Toronto by the company that hired me at the beginning of January for training. I took the subway downtown, came out on the street in a blizzard, and started drudging through a foot of snow dressed in a suit. I noticed there was absolutely no one else around me on a Monday morning. "How odd," I thought. When I finally arrived a few blocks later and totally soaked and frozen, my fellow employees asked me why I didn't just walk through the underground from the subway. And that was after I had lived in a suburb of Toronto for eight months a few years prior! As my father used to say "Nice guy, not too bright!"
