    I've not read that one. One of the proudest moments of my life and I've been blessed to have had more than a few was when I was in the Tennessee Museum. My husband and my kids were behind me and I came across their Daniel Boone exhibit and I stood there by myself Looking at his pocket knife and his rifle.
    And not that he was Daniel Boone. But that he was my Danny Boone.

    Hey thanks for the rep. And yes. I am a Boone. My real name is Dana Katherine Boone and my father's name really was Daniel John Boone and yes a true descendant.

    The Canucks known as the northern Boones come down from my grandfather Charles who fell in love with a Canadian woman and we're the branch up here.

    One day I'll have to put up the fun story of when I was living in Tennessee and pulled out the Boone card to avoid a Hatfield and McCoy situation in Hickman county.
