cereal, I know I am an aggressive poster, but I just got a bullshit warning from a mod on a thread about the mentality of government dependents where I used the metaphor 'where my Obama money at' to ridicule the mentality. Are we really going to go there, because if so, about every thread has an equally creative treatment of the subject matter. And what about post which are, say, smiley faces which say nothing but are put up to ridicule other posts? I don't imagine I will survive long in the heat of political battle when I can be quite arbitrarily singled out by someone such as In the Middle who simply does not like me. Oh well. Sucks to be me, but I am just pointing out the slippery slope the forum is on.

We've never spoken but it's been suggested to me that you might be willing to help. I'm a rough and tumble sort who gives as he gets and expects no quarter. I recently violated the 48 hr neg REP rule without knowing it existed. The system has other automatic stops - "spread it around" and "maximum in 24 hr period" - are the two I've seen but none to stop me from being a bad boy. Anyway I'm hoping for a 2nd chance (I'm not a repeat violator or a crybaby) but I would understand if you choose not to bang heads with another admin over this.
