  • Still too damned long! lol

Being semi-retired now I've got lots of time and have been putting my soul into Abby, and now Duke(I lost the naming battle), and they will be very very well trained and socialized, but one thing is for sure, it will take a person with balls of steel to come into my house uninvited with these two looking through a door or window at ya, in about another year. :eusa_whistle:

Anyway, sorry to babble, I get going about my dogs and, well, |I keep going! lol I'd rather be with my dogs than most people anymore.
Message was too long to post in 1

Abby was a little hesitant at first, but she has come along ok and is now really good with him. I don't leave them alone at all because she is so much bigger that she doesn't even mean to hurt him sometimes. He will catch up quick in size I think, yesterday at his 12week vaccinations he weighed 30.5lbs! Abby is a big girl at 85lbs at 1yr, and he's over 6lbs bigger than her at the same time.
I didn't seek out big shepherds, and it's not important to me, but I'm going to end up with good sized ones. Abby still has a lot of filling out to do yet, and I bet she ends up being around 100lbs. That's a big girl, and this pup I have no idea, but his dad is about 120, and it sure looks like this guy will get there, at least.
Hey! Glad to hear your pup is doing well. It's so cool to watch them learn and develop. I find myself being proud when they accomplish something, kinda like when my kids conquer something! lol is that sad or what?

I wasn't planning on another pup yet, but this guy was an accident, and is a full blood brother to my Abby. They are getting the ***** spayed so I decided to take him knowing what I have in his sister from the breeding. I'm not planning on breeding and will be getting Abby fixed a couple months after her next cycle, so that's not a concern for me.
Yo ba, your new puppy is such a cutie.

How do he and Abbey get along?? My Abbie is doing just fine. We've almost completed 2 rounds of basic obedience. We will be moving on the Basic 2. She's a little whiz and obedience and I hope to start showing her next year. She's still a pup though and loves to play, play and play some more.

Good look with your newest little baby.
Yo ba, your little girl is growing up just fine. What a beauty she is.

I just adoped a 6 month old GSD from a local shelter, Great little girl. She's black with a little silver behind the ears, elbows and the bottom of the tail. Sweet as can be. I'm thinking about Obedience competition with her. I'll let you know how she goes along. I named her Abbie.
