Abbey is doing great. Doing a lot of off leash work with her. Also have to work on the recall. Thats done off leash. Abbey decides its playtime. I call, she comes, she goes right on by. LOL She's a hoot.

Yep I've had a few of those velcro GSD's in my day.

Obedience is loads of fun. Not as much as herding but darned close.

If you have classes in your area check around and get into one thats geared toward showing and usually you will find folks who are showing or want to show. They can help steer you in the right direction. Its loads of fun. Not as much as herding but darned close.

Hey Congrats!!
I've never done obedience in a ring, it must be intimidating!

My boy is doing pretty good, he'll be a year old already on Fri! He's definitely one of those "Velcro" gsd's you hear about. He's always right beside me.

Your dogs still look super. Hows your youngest doing??

Took Abbey to her first AKC show two Saturdays ago. We competed in Pre-Novice which is all on leash. My girl got 191 points out of 200 and a lovely 1st place ribbon.

The last time I competed in Obedience was back in the 80's. Didn't take long for it to all come back though. Had a great time and Abbey was super.
