So what is so appealing about Socialism/Communism/Liberalism. Even Whoopi Goldberg, who has made millions of dollars from a Capitalist Society, says "that Communism works on paper, but, when Humans get placed in Charge, then it's nuts. So why do you all want Socialism?

Communism is the opposite of human nature and will always fail. Government can't plan and run everything. Won't ever work.

Capitalism is more in accord with nature but nature is brutal and cruel. Unfettered capitalism brings child labor, unsafe labor conditions, pollution, etc. Capitalists bring anti-capitalist monopolies and government interventions as soon as they are established. That way their position is secured from competition. Capitalism is fine in theory but gets limited each time society recognizes its excesses. That leads to government intervention and morphs it into socialism, the society-friendly version of capitalism.

Liberalism is not an economic alternative, it is a value system. It is not evil or stupid, just different from conservatism.

Should Regent be put on ignore after such a ridiculous statement! The budget was NEVER balanced, but for the sake of argument, let us say he did. Fine, and thank you, but he NEVER paid off the debt, he just balanced the budget.

Now, if you don't believe me, then look at any graph you wish that shows National debt. If the budget was balanced in any year of the Clinton Presidency, then explain in that year (go ahead, pick any year of his you wish) the national debt went up. If the budget was actually balanced, it would be a flat line, and every graph shows it rising. It was an accounting trick, which Washington is good at using. But, I will admit his administration got the closest while working with congress, so kudos to all of them!

It should be clarified that true communists do not believe in rulers, which is the only sane belief until you get into BS about abolishing capitalism, hierarchy, and private property.

What America's original intent was, that all men though created equal, would only be able to succeed when a government was not in their way. Each person according to ones abilities, would enable them to reach great success. Back in the revolutionary war, free blacks stood side by side with free whites and because of that freedom, was able to defeat the greatest army in the world. When after the civil war, free black slaves were given 40 acres and a mule to use any way they wanted. But along came the Southern White Democrats(KKK) because they believed that blacks weren't human enough to own property so the free blacks and republicans(white) who supported the blacks were hung side by side, by the KKK. You don't see this taught in socialist propaganda public education, because then more black people would be looking to lynch white democrats like Hillary, her husband, Al Gore, and other elite liberals.
