Your Childhood Toys

The only childhood toy I still have is my stuffed kitty that my grandmother gave me when I was born. It's over 52 years old.:D Yikes! It's stuffed with the old excelsior stuffing and has blue glass eyes.

Everything vanished 4 years ago when my mom was moved to a nursing home.

My all time favorite was the kenner construction set. No way they could make anything so cool every again.

Knex were a good second best for my kids, but they never got the fun out of them that I got out of the kenner construction set.

A stuffed Lassie dog. It's missing an eye and still smells like my parents house (a good smell). A Lassie coloring book. Lassie books.

I don't know what ever happened to all my matchbox cars and other stuffed animals.

Best. Toys. Ever.

It has a United Nations feel about it.

All it needs is a little third world figurine with one hand out asking for US dollars and the other hand finger pointing and condeming the United States.

I'm an Air Force brat....none.

I used to do writing in highschool and had some really good manuscripts (at least I thought they were), my mom sold the house while I was at college and I don't even have my manuscripts. I do have my Bible (received in 2nd grade) and my little girls tea set, but that's it.

I know how you feel, I used to write short stories when I was a kid, all lost.

Every time I watch Deadwood I am sure they found my lost work and pinched me.

Logan's Run? That was mine :D And the bionic woman? I wrote that before they did too. Also had a really good one going about twins....a murder mystery. The twist at the end was gonna be that the guy wasn't dead.

I think Logans Run is a pretty good idea, 29 years is enough.

I don't mind doing a feed the world after that and becoming Soylent Green.

*Fuck I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

On top of my wife!

Boom tish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What toys do you still have from your childhood?

I have some Barbie Dolls, my Raggedy Ann, some books and stuffed animal (a cat of course)

Oh, and a Alice in Wonderland figurine my grandmother gave me.

I fondly remember my spring horse. I used to buckle on my holster and pistol and fight the Indians many battles on that ol' horse. :eusa_angel:

We were in California, I was 5. We were moving to Nebraska the next day. I spent all night crying and riding my spring horse "dynamite" as my father said we couldn't take it with us. I never did get another horse. Got one for my niece though...:D

What I have: My first teddy bear and my Matchbox collection.

What I wish I still had: My Lincoln Logs and my Erector sets.
