Younger Americans are having less sex

I love talking to honest Republicans. He's not trying to "catch" me saying something racist and he certainly doesn't hold back on telling me his racist views. Of course as a white man he's not going to like affirmative action. He should be a boss one day. It would suck to think he can't ever be a boss because he's a white man. But that's why he's not going into Human Resources. Today corporations are looking for women and minorites to head that department.

I would consider him a young republican up at college. I tell him not to join those douchebags. But he can't stand how WOKE college is. How liberal most students are. Well, most students weren't born into extreme wealth. He doesn't realize how lucky he is. Instead he has the attitude most rich republicans have. They are entitled. Deserve it. Shouldn't be ashamed of the privilege they were born into. Not going to apologize and doesn't owe anyone anything.

True but the problem with rich republicans is they believe they were born in the house they built with their own two hands.

Anyways, I love how USMB republicans pretend not to be racists and they lie about it. Instead of attacking blacks they attack "democratic controlled cities". Dog whistle shit.

I think Republicans are lying about having sex. They get none and you know it.

I find this very interesting.

Why? Is it internet porn? Is it because abortion isn't an option like it used to be? I noticed this with my younger nephew. Him and his friends are not getting laid and they are 18 year olds. Some of them have girlfriends but most do not.

In the past 25% of kids were not having sex. Today it's closer to 50%.
Whatever the reason, I think it's great. Fewer unwanted children. Fewer people in a world already overpopulated.

Even married people are having less sex.

people in their 20s - are more likely to have been celibate in adulthood and that they are on track to have fewer lifetime sexual partners than either Boomers or Gen Xers have had.

You would think dating apps make it easier but For some people, they obviously work really well. Very quickly, they've become the leading way to meet partners. But for others, they can be really demoralizing and a huge time suck.

It seems like in a fairly short period of time, we've just become a bit less comfortable sort of striking up conversations in real life.

A really robust body of research shows that health and happiness tend to lead to a good sex life or a happy sex life and the reverse as well. And I think that if something is going on in our culture that is making intimacy - both physical intimacy and, really, I would say, more importantly, emotional intimacy - more fraught and more elusive, that should be deeply troubling to us.

They're all queers.

Well the corporate masters will have a tougher time finding people in the future. Not a bad thing. Right now finding workers is beyond easy.

Having sex is tied to being happy. What's to be happy about if you are them?

College that will put you into debt
A boom and bust economy
No job security
Kids cost too much
Too much of the profits going to the men at the top.

I'm thinking that kids have a poor work ethic (they're lazy) coupled with high salary expectations and a sub par education which is heavy on brainwashing and light on usable information and skills.

Nice word salad.

My nephews are so normal for rich kids. They get to hear how we didn’t have all the things they have. They like working kid jobs like waiting tables or cook at a pizza joint. And their school is paid for and they have spending money in the bank, but they aren’t spoiled. They are compared to me but they’re pretty normal young men.

The oldest is a fucking Republican though. We have good debates. I give in. Not worth me having a bad relationship with my family. Politics.
Hereditary Power Is the Road Back to Serfdom

Familyism is even more primitive and destructive than tribalism. Ninety-nine percent of our talent is wasted or worn out by the thorny and slippery ladder of class-climbing.

Poor-Work Ethic

Not being paid during education proves nothing about how hard the graduate will work once he finally gets paid for working. Jared Kushner is a good example of that.

Can you explain this? It's one thing to say what you said but how about explaining or giving some examples? Was there a link that came with what you said?

When my brother and I were going to college we shared a car with our parents. So when dad got home at 2pm we had to find a job that was from 3pm to 11am. We found a 3rd shift factory job. Man my brother hated that job. He dragged ass, showed no enthusiasm. No interest in learning how to do this factory rat work we were doing. Me on the other hand worked harder. I seemed like the better employee.

But then he got his masters in HR and really loved that kind of work. Went in early, stayed late, took on the tough assignments. He's passionate about HR. He's also a millionaire VP.

Me on the other hand. Now that I'm in sales, I get to work 15 minutes early but I leave right at 5pm if not earlier. I value my free time. I like my job but don't like it enough to do it one minute past closing time.

Most of my friends say they thought I'd be the more successful brother. My brother says he hit the work lotto when they named him to be VP. It was a shock to the entire company when it happened. He wasn't that high up on the food chain when they made him the VP. I suppose it shouldn't have been a shock. He did have a masters from Michigan State University. Without that higher education he would have never gotten the chance. So grades may not tell you how good a person is going to be in the workforce but some jobs you just can't have if you didn't have good grades. Or a good degree from a good school

We Are Born in the Dugout and Made to Believe We've Been Benched

If we have to do it on our own, so must the children of the rich. They will get nowhere, and our leadership class will come from all classes. Allowing inheritance and trust funds is as destructive as allowing pro athletes to pass on their positions to their sons.

Of course there's no link. Links are part of a chain that those in charge shackle us with. Don't believe the rulers' lie that we are provided with all different ways of thinking about things. Same chain, it doesn't matter if the links are of all different colors.

Modeled on How 18-Year-Old Baseball Stars Are Incentivized

Why let the self-appointed rulers make the rules? What gives them the right to tell us "To Get a Good Job, Get a Good Education?"

We create their wealth and their jobs. So we should demand of them, "To Get the Best Employees, Replace Indentured-Servitude College With Highly Paid Professional Education."

Only that will get the most valuable natural talent and get them to study. Those who oppose it only do so because they know they won't make the cut. Those bootlicking morons believe in the slavish nonsense of getting a job by going four or more years without a job. The reward is not worth the sacrifice, but it's the only way no-talents can get ahead. They can't do a good job, but they can get a good job.
