I know NASA is going to stop sending shuttles up, but if there was a special mission and they were looking for a normal person....as if anyone here is normal---*haha*.....would you consider taking a flight up into space on the space shuttle if NASA asked you??
What would it take??
Them just asking??
Or would you need a little cash bonus to go along with the deal??

Not many people would pass up the opportunity. Its once in a lifetime. Its safer going up there than driving around on a regular highway really.

That's not true. But it sounds good and I wish it were true, but sadly, it's not. All space shuttle trips are much more dangerous than driving on the freeway.
