Yet Another Example Of Why Greater Gun Control Is Needed

Here's a tip for you: He isn't allowed to own a gun, therefore he obtained it "illegally" no matter what.
so what kind of law would have kept this poor person from obtaining a weapon?

He probably got it at one of the gun shows in Vegas. Anyone can get one.
Indeed. Gun shows are known for giving away weapons to every tom dick and harry. Or in this case, Julio.

Yup, they are known for that. Got the money? Here's your gun Julio. Don't shoot too many people now, ya hear?
I thought he didn't have any money?
You didn't think one out too well, ey?

Keith Lamont Scott was a felon who was not permitted to own a gun, ankle holster visible in the videos.
If, as Hillary wants to, all Americans are stripped of their firearms to prevent terrorism, the Muzzscum will stocks their explosives and firearms in their mosques for whenever needed. Islam's express intent is domination of the world under a Worldwide Islamic Caliphate, and as we have seen in San Bernardino, Orlando, Elizabeth, NJ, NYC, Minnesota, Paris and Normandy France the more devout the Muslim, the more violent.

Yesterday, a man in Las Vegas shot and killed a patron at Starbucks because he got mad that his credit card was declined. He had a criminal history and should not have been in possession of a gun. Yet, he had a gun, thanks to how EASY it is to get one, especially in Nevada.

Police: Suspect's bank card was declined at Starbucks drive-thru before deadly attack

When the cops say he shouldn't have been in possession of a gun, that means he got it illegally.

It's also funny how the same people screaming for more gun control are the same people who say the prisons are too full and we need to let these poor minorities out and give them another chance.

How do you know he didn't get it illegally? You don't..
Since he probably got it illegally, how would more laws have stopped him?

Simple, he's too broke to have obtained it illegally. His card was declined at Starbucks.

Wrong as usual one must pass a background check to buy firearms even at Gun shows. Unless there happens to be a private seller which is highly unlikely.

They're supposed to do background checks at gun shows. The reality is very different. Money talks. Especially with a private seller, which there is no shortage of.

Samaha walked back into the gun show, and within minutes he was out again, this time carrying a Colt AR 15, a semi-automatic assault weapon very similar to an M16. We asked if there were any questions asked.

"Nothing," he said. "I just went up, gave him cash. He's like, 'Cash is all you need.'"

10 Guns in 1 Hour? No ID, No Problem

Here's how easy it is to buy a gun at a gun show. The dealers don't give a shit about anything except money. It's a joke.

I'm sure this guy in the story got his gun at a gun show like one of these, just like everyone else.

Amen to this. If people want something bad enough, they will do whatever it takes to score what ever it is that they want. Its against the law to rob places, but some people rob places anyways. Its against the law to rape someone, but some people rape other people when they want the sex badly enough. When will people who scream that we need stricter gun control finally get this?

God bless you always!!!

Twit......moron......he was already barred from owning a gun.....your stupid gun laws didn't stop him from getting it....

The suspect, later identified by Metro as Garcia, was described by police as a Hispanic man in his 30s. LVMPD Lt. Dan McGrath says the suspect has a violent criminal history and should not have been in possession of a gun.

So....licesing him would not have stopped him...he couldn't own a gun in the first place.....registering the gun wouldn't have stopped him.......they caught him at the scene.....and a universal background check....wouldn't have stopped him.....since he was already banned from owning a gun.....and still got one....

and the important part......when you catch a felon with an illegal gun...you can already arrest them......

And guess what genius.....if you create universal background checks for private sales...if the seller doesn't care, they will still sell the gun.......

Also.....right now....criminals use people with clean records to buy guns for them, since they can pass a background check...so if they want a gun from a private sale...genius.....they will use the same person with the clean record to buy it through the private sale.....Do you understand how this makes background checks for private sales just as pointless?

The anti gunners only want background checks for private sales to get universal gun registration....

So none of what you post would have stopped this guy....

And another thing....if the guy bought the gun from someone who is selling guns to criminals.....the cops can set up a sting and arrest that seller, just like they do for every other kind of illegal activity......

If he didn't have money for StarBucks...how did he afford a gun for several hundred dollars?

It's too late for gun control in this country. There are over 400 million guns here. It is easier for a criminal to get a gun here than any other 1st world country. The gun nuts have already won.

Wrong....criminals get guns in Britain, France, Australia and even Japan .......gun control doesn't work anywhere....

In fact....fully automatic AK-47s are a status symbol for French criminals....

The OP is another mental case that cant connect the dots........like gun laws are going to stop a mental case like him from getting a gun?!!!:eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

How do people come up with this? That a law is going to stop a person from getting a gun? Working real, real well in South Chicago!!

Does anyone remember the big stink Star Bucks made about concealed carry in their stores.......and as pointed out at one of he gun blogs.......the anti gunners asked..."why do you need a gun at Star Bucks..."

Apparently, you need a gun because criminals don't care about Star Buck's anti gun policy.....

The shooter is a convicted felon, it's already against the law for felons to have a gun, you dipshit moron.

Maybe he had a few hundred bucks before blowing it all on the gun he bought at a gun show?
