Yeah, the Russians Must Have Something on Trump. . . .

Trump has spoken with nothing but admiration for Russia and it’s leader. He has been forced into taking action against his own will by being presented with irrefutable evidence of their crimes, such as when congress unanimously voted to force him to enact sanctions. Trump waited until the last possible day to comply, railing against it the entire time. He has done nothing to harm Russia, and everything to legitimize their crimes.

Which crimes would that be?
Sabotaging the election, invading Ukraine, murdering British citizens with chemical weapons, ongoing cyber warfare, etc. Have you been living under a rock? Good god, man.
Please, don't waste your time trying to educate a shit stain fan who watches Faux News exclusively.

What in the world kind of "dirt" could the Russians possibly have on the President of the United States that left wing members of the so-called "intelligence" community couldn't uncover in a year long witch hunt? Do lefties really want to insult the fat bureaucratic asses in the CIA and the other half dozen intelligence agencies allegedly loyal to Barry Hussein and CNN?

Does this mean those who are defending detente are now mad at Trump? When do people start defending principles and stop defending a man with no principles?

We defend him BECAUSE of his principles--principles like trying to make peace through strength, letting people keep more of their own money, appointing judges who will follow the Constitution, easing the regulatory burdens on our companies so they can grow and hire more people, defending basic rights like freedom of religion and freedom of speech, etc., etc.
I said detente.
Peace thru strength is the opposite.
You don't have a rebuttal I take it.

HUH??? How is peace through strength the opposite of detente? You achieve detente by being strong enough that your potential enemy would rather not risk a war with you. If your enemy thinks he could defeat you with little cost, you'd better hope your enemy is not aggressive and predatory.

The Romans were willing to negotiate with the Persians because they decided that the cost of an all-out war with Persia would be too high.
Detente is a relaxation of tensions. Selling the Ukraine and Georgia weapons does not accomplish that, I assure you.

Peace thru strength is forcing your opponent to obey.

So which is it today? Is Trump for detente with Russia or is he a tough guy?

You people are ridiculous.

Absolutely not. Russia would just exploit our idiot President.
Sure. Donald Trump is an idiot and you are smart enough to realize that. If only Trump had you to advise him he could have become more than a multi-billionaire President of the U.S.

And I don’t know what they’re supposed to do about conflicts in the Muslim world since we are the ones who started them all.
The simple answer to that is we need to finish them all. And all we need to do that is the right leadership -- and cooperation from the Liberal assholes who normally interfere with that objective. Also, an alliance with Russia would greatly simplify the task.

At the summit neither Putin nor his bitch standing next to him denied that Putin has Kompromat on Trump when asked. Trump just stood there looking like the compromised little weasel he is.

No, you people are ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. What a mish-mash of illogical nonsense. Nixon did not achieve detente by cutting defense spending, but by approaching the Russians from a position of strength. So did Reagan. Yes, detente is an easing of tensions, and two of the ways that you achieve that are by TALKING to the other side and by not embarrassing the other side's leader in front of the whole world.

Only in your liberal mind does "peace through strength" mean forcing your opponent to obey. In some cases, it *can* mean that, but in many other cases it simply means being strong enough that your foe or potential foe would rather work out an arrangement with you than go to war with you, ala the Romans and the Persians or the U.S. and the Soviet Union.

Trump is president. That single fact is proof to democrats that Russia controlled the election. There was no way beloved Hillary could lose. On election day her chance of winning was 98%. It had to be Russians nothing else could explain her loss.

If you think that was bad, wait until Trump wins reelection.

Apparently liberals have no answer for the OP's list of Trump's anti-Russian actions. They just keep repeating the Hillary/DNC lie that Trump is a pawn of Russia. Obama imposed sanctions on Russia but gutted our missile defense, which was a major Russian demand. Obama also refused to sell weapons to Georgia and Ukraine, whereas Trump has sold weapons to both. And on and on we could go.

Hmm. When exactly did the Russians invade Ukraine? and sabotoging the election? Having Podesta fall for a phishing email and exposing the DNC and Hillary screwing Sanders suddenly amounts to sabotoge? Do tell. Hmmm why did Trump expel 60 Russian diplomats? Oh wait.. something about a murder in Britain. Did you read the OP?

"While 83 percent of Democrats disapproved of Trump's handling of the Helsinki summit, 68 percent of Republicans approved."

100 percent of Democrats are idiots
