Actually the wife still has some freedom as far as the bathroom goes,
because we have the new style bathroom where the master has a
small room inside it about the size of a closet where the toilet is located.
DON'T TOUCH MY TOILET WOMAN!!!
I thought it was strange when I first saw it but the builder said most new
houses have them. Anyone else have a toilet closet inside the bathroom???

Hey all,
I bought a brand new house 2 months ago and want some advice
on landscaping the back yard. Colorado is really dry and the ground
is hard as hell. Anyway, would like to put in a deck, maybe a guesthouse
with a hot tub. So with this arid climate what's a good way to fill the rest of
the space, I know rocks.... that's pretty much every house in Colorado. Want something different, got time to save money and plan. Any ideas???

This might help. I used this book when I planned my yard in CA and am now using it at home and at work here in WA. Since I do not have my copy here, I don't know if CO is included, but think it is.

The book is great for planning, plant material, gardenscapes, both hard and soft. I bought mine at Home Depot.

K, Girly Stuff in the Yard:

Plastic or ceramic knomes
Bird baths
Porcellan frogs
Fruity looking Birdhouses
Any tool with a landscape painted on it
Fairy People

That kinda stuff.

Plastic or ceramic knomes - You mean people actually put those in their yards!I thought they were used for target practice.

Bird baths- Well the bird's gotta bathe too.

Porcellan frogs- Don't need them have plenty of live ones in my yard. Want me to send you some?

Fruity looking Birdhouses- I have never seen a fruity looking birdhouse.

Any tool with a landscape painted on it- You mean they actually paint landscapes on tools?

Fairy People -Ok the fairy people I'll give you, that one would be considered GIRLY.

however Cinder Blocks And depelated Dog houses are not in this year, in landscaping your yard. So if you do not want your wife out there tearing out your landscaping while your at work I would suggest going with the pond instead.

Sorry took me so long to respond I got tied up at work. :bang3:
