Wow. Ron Paul wasn't kidding about letting people die!

Shit happens. How is this translating into 'Ron Paul wants uninsured people to die' again?

Oh, that's right. It doesn't.

And where does it say that in the thread?

Wow. Ron Paul wasn't kidding about letting people die!
You telling me that there is no implication here that Ron Paul thinks we should just let uninsured people die?

Disingenuous, lying sack of shit.

And?

English not your first language?

Need a thesarus? Need a dictionary?

"Wasn't kidding" doesn't equal "Wants"..

Not even close.

What disclaimer?

It's the truth..I don't start shit. But I don't sit on my hands either when shit comes.

It's no disclaimer..it's a statment of fact..and/or policy.

Don't like shit thrown your way..don't start shit.

Which is not something you know about.

Since you admitted, openly, to trolling.

So 2 wrongs make a right.... If it's you. Gotcha.

You clearly don't have the "posting standard" to start making such claims.

Of course you can throw shit like everyone else does.

And it's of course laughable.

Hey I'm not the one with a thread where after like 8-9 pages only 1 person takes my side, and that person is TM of all people, lol.

Grats to you, doin real good Swallow.

And where does it say that in the thread?

Seriously?

Actually..what I am aware of is this was a friend. When people I didn't know to well at my office went ill, all the co-workers took up collections and we visited the guy/gal in the hospital. And those were people WITH insurance.

It sounds like Paul abandoned this guy.

And he RAISED 19.5 million dollars for his freaking campaign.

You guys talk all about someone's character.

What does that say..about character?

Abandoned? Really? It's simply amazing the things you pull out of your ass! If you'll do the slightest of research, you'll find differently. Yes, millions were raised. You are aware that candidates have to spend their money on their campaign and can't just pay off medical bills don't you? Don't you? The normally healthy and relatively young man fell suddenly ill and was being treated in the hospital where he later died of complications from pneumonia. When his mother was presented with the $400,000 bill, his friends started a fund.......just like your fellow Wal-mart co-workers. How do you know that Ron Paul didn't contribute? Oh yeah........you pull stuff out of your ass.

If you got an article, present it. And on my way from walmart I intend to stop by McDonalds. So have my fries ready..okay? They were cold last time.

Look Pee wee, I shouldn't have to school you on doing your homework. You make a claim, you by god need to be a big enough boy to back it up. It's your job to prove your claims, not mine. That being said, once and only once am I going to do this to prove what a fucking tool you are.

And BTW, I don't own a McD's franchise, so whine to someone else about your cold fries.

That's what freedom is all about..taking your own risks. - Ron Paul responding to the question about Health Care and a 30 year old dying.

Please note for the record that Shallow has still failed to even acknowledge the fact that this man was not denied medical attention, despite being uninsured.

Ron was right.... it was his risk to take, and he did it.

Why is Ron the bad guy?

Dr. Paul did all he could to take care of folks w/o insurance. He has proved that with his ACTIONS not words.

I have a great idea sallow..... DONT VOTE FOR HIM

I dont plan on it, plus he has 0% chance of winning, so relax.

How sweet!

He's got a charity going!

Cool..I hope that the charity can pay the expenses.

And the family doesn't go bankrupt.

But sheesh..400k? Chump change to Paul personally..

Turns out, the old doctor (he's even older than Sen. John McCain) is a millionaire, a few times over.

An Air Force veteran and ob-gyn who often champions the cause of the little guy, Paul disclosed 41 separate financial holdings that have a combined value of between $2.29 million and $5.3 million. The disclosure statements require officeholders and candidates to disclose a range of values for their holdings.

Ron Paul, the little guy's champion, turns out to be a millionaire - latimes.com

Couldn't he find it in his heart to pay up most of it?

For old times sake!

As it turns out, Paul was not speaking purely in hypotheticals. Back in 2008, Kent Snyder — Paul's former campaign chairman — died of complications from pneumonia. Like the man in Blitzer's example, the 49-year-old Snyder (pictured) was relatively young and seemingly healthy* when the illness struck. He was also uninsured. When he died on June 26, 2008, two weeks after Paul withdrew his first bid for the presidency, his hospital costs amounted to $400,000. The bill was handed to Snyder's surviving mother (pictured, left), who was incapable of paying. Friends launched a website to solicit donations.

According to the Wall Street Journal's 2008 story on his death, Snyder was more than just a strategic ally: He was the only reason Paul thought he ever had a shot at the presidency in the first place.

"It was Kent more than anyone else who encouraged and pushed Ron to run for president," said Jesse Benton, a spokesman for Mr. Paul. "Ron would not have run for the presidency if it had not been for Kent. Ron was really hesitant, but Kent drove him forward."

Live the madness!

Why are you offering an opinion on something you didn't even listen to?

Snyder wasn't denied medical coverage and charity covered his hospital bill. The latter is exactly what Paul spoke to in his most recent debate. Not the leftist spin of 'Paul wants the uninsured to die'. This thread is bullshit.

As to others asking why he didn't have insurance? From the article:

The Kansas City Star quoted his sister at the time as saying that a "a pre-existing condition made the premiums too expensive.

not really his problem. He was not the estate, and he was not a relative. He advocates personal responsibility, and I see nothing in this story that counters that.

Much ado about nothing.

Except now the tax payers are responsible. The reason behind Obamacare is to help get the American middle class off the hook and get profit making insurance companies to help the country where their CEO can be paid $100,000,000.00 in one check because that won't happen in any other country.

Do you just open your mouth and let the dumb words fall out? The taxpayers were not held responsible for paying for this guys hospital bill. His family was and his friends raised the money to pay it. Damned nice of them. Obamacare will actually do what you are bitching about, it will suck money from the middle class to pay for the healthcare of people who don't want it or won't pay for it. Or worse, to illegal aliens. Insurance is a for profit business dumbass. Quit sucking the teat and take care of your own business.

He has a congenital defect that cause him to post while he is asleep.
