Though I've made fun of Christie, I truly feel sorry for him, and his family too because if he doesn't do something soon, they're going to lose him far sooner than is necessary. His corpulence is just not healthy, and for the most part, he's a decent individual.

Yes. Christie is fat. He knows it and we know it. He should be ashamed because he has a family who surely care about him. One would hope he cares enough about them not accelerate the arrival of his demise by carrying so much weight.

It doesn't look that way to me -- I haven't enough experience in cetology -- so I really can't say for sure whether he looks as you suggest.
