I'm just asking what people think the political ramifications of passing or not passing the gop "plan" which doesn't have a maj gop support right now.
Most of these ? threads have some thinly disguised political agenda. I don't have such. I think the wall's a stupid idea, and punishing employers would be more cost effective, but I'm for pitching back over the border any illegal aliens we find, and you can't cut govt spending without actually cutting it (which up till now the GOP HASN'T DONE), although there's simply no mathematical way to cut Medicare and soc security with the boomers still alive.
