Poking into the sky, the first column of the 100th floor of 1 World Trade Center will bring the tower to a height of 1,271 feet, making it 21 feet higher than the Empire State Building.

The area was cleaned up and ready to go in weeks. Nothing happened until Bush left office. And it took less then a decade to put TWO buildings up in the same area.

Go for it..lets us all know how well Bush handled the whole thing. He wanted to cut funding for NYC, saying we should have to pay for the military that was sent over here to safeguard the place. It was Hillary Clinton that fought that.

i don't think they should have built this one.

but then again, i live here. for me it isn't symbolic, it's dangerous and i wouldn't work there for any amount of money
