Can't help hearing and know what local EMS think. My son that still lives locally was EMS, but now Emergency Room Nurse at the largest hospital between Memphis and Nashville,, so I hear all the good stuff.

He has his head on straight after years in Afghanistan, and seeing carnage there as Airborne Infantry, and then EMT, Paramedic, and now this. He likes it, likes the action and experience. Other people's blood does not bother him that much, which that part is like me, when the sht hits the fan, you're too busy to worry about it, though I was not constantly in the sht hits the fan business.
