Yes, the world's leaders are at it again. They are announcing that, since they passed a law saying we will reverse climate change, that means we CAN reverse climate change. All we had to do was pass a law, and/or reach an "agreement".

None of them is commenting on the fact that, in more than 40 years since it became an issue, no one has ever found the slightest proof that man's actions had any effect on the changing climate. Nor can he do anything to change it back.

All the so-called "scientific research" presents not a single bit of proof. Nothing but references to studies, which then refer to other studies, on and on in a comical circle-jerk with no end.

In more than 40 years.

But this agreement commits us to spend trillions of dollars in a futile quest to prove the Earth is flat.

But there is an out, which these leaders are also quietly not mentioning. They claim that since the accord says the participants "shall" limit temperature increase, that makes it "binding".

But if, say, China were to fail to meet its promised goals, what will then be done to them in consequence?

Well, nothing.

Ditto for Russia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and every other country crowing how "binding" this agreement is.

No enforcement.

It's nothing but a gigantic feel-good paper, whose only real result will be the transfer of millions of dollars from taxpayers to the pockets of those with the gaudiest promises to "change things". No need for them to actually succeed. Which is fortunate for them since they can't. Nobody can. Nobody has ever even come up wit a scheme that works.

Only schemes they SAY will work... but have never tried.

But you and I will get the bill anyway.

'The most important international agreement in history'

Achim Steiner, executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme, said the hard work was now only just beginning but hailed a huge achievement:

"The Paris agreement is probably the most important international agreement in history. Nations of the world have underlined that climate change is a threat to the security and prosperity of all societies, and can only be addressed through unity of purpose. A sustainable future benefits all of humanity.

"This agreement is a testament to the ability of our societies to set aside differences and confront collective challenges for the global good. Importantly, the agreement has provisions to protect the most vulnerable. Fairness and equity are at the heart of this accord.

"Governments have sent a signal to the private sector that the momentum toward sustainability cannot be stopped. This is what the world needed to see.

The arrogance of the green lobby if that's what they even care about, but we all it's about money not about "saving" the earth. Dumbass green people

Have these idiots told the sun and the ocean currents about their agreement to override their natural impacts on the climate of planet earth?

Some of them know its a farce. Its an excellent opportunity for the elitists to go eat beluga caviar and toast champagnes and drink fine wines.

Yep, and then they can all fly home in their private jets and feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel good about themselves.

The defective liberal gene is not restricted to the USA.

They are telling anyone who will listen.

Unfortunately for them, fewer and fewer people are listening to them. And for good reason.

We saved the world!! With a non binding piece of paper!!

WOOHOO!!!

At least we won't have to talk about global warming anymore, ya know, since we just saved the world.

WOOHOO!!!

Looks like the usual liberal fanatics are avoiding this thread like the plague.

Not hard to understand. Vampires (and cockroaches) avoid bright light in the same way, and for the same reason.

This is the liberal fanatics' last hurrah.

The reason they are becoming so strident and abusive on the airwaves (and in internet forums), is because they know their base is slipping away, forsaking them, and not believing what they say any more.

The fanatics must enact everything they can NOW. Because in a few years it will be too late, and they will have no support from the populace any more.
