HOW DO YOU GO FROM MAGGOTS TO RECRUITS......Proff

It was common for Marine Corps drill instructors to call recruits maggots. That's what I was called when I trained at Parris Island in 1956 and from what I know the practice hasn't changed. My friends who served in other branches of the military told me they experienced the same treatment.
