Wonderful News: Trump To Allow Drilling In Obama's Marine Sanctuaries

Why do rightwingers want to destroy nature? Why revel in destruction rather than a balanced approach?

The marine sanctuaries weren't just Obama's (I get that you hate him) - but Bush set them aside as well.

Sad times.

I think its sad that leftists are so brainwashed they actually believe the tripe they spew.

yeah, coyote. Right wingers love pollution. Dumbass.

I think my point stands with the sentiments expressed in the OP.
I don't know what point to meant to make. But what you say is that right wingers want to destroy nature. Tell you what...clear out of your house and give up your job if you have one so that you can protect nature. Move somewhere else and let the earth reclaim your home. Stop drinking water, the cities are sucking the rivers dry. No electricity for you.. Dams destroy nature.

This is indeed wonderful news. Drilling is much needed in these areas and the money the oilfield workers will make will be phenomenal. This is the right approach in helping America become great again.

Reefs and such shallow marine environments have a large percentage of the life on earth...Destroying it is a negro thing to do as it is just dumb.
Holy shit I had no idea you were so racist. So drilling for oil is only something the ******* would do?
I thought he meant negro's were bad for marine life?
Have you ever been near a public swimming full of them? You can smell coconut oil, chemicals and groid musk from over a mile away. There's no doubt that it's toxic.

Apparently they cannot read the sign that says you must shower before you use the swimming pool. They just jump right in without taking a shower and their gross groid grime forms a sheen over the entire surface of the pool.

It's gross.

I knew coons were behind destroying places like Detroit but you say they are bad for marine life as well?

here is my favorite line from the article:

“Coastal communities made it clear they don’t want offshore drilling,” U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said in a statement. “The president’s executive order ignores those concerns.”
Democrats are confined to the coasts. Coastal communities are democrat communities. Slap them upside the head until they accept reality.

Once human beings kill off all of Earth's other lifeforms, they'll only have themselves left to kill off. We need to seriously think these things through. We humans need those other lifeforms to survive. Polluting their habitats and killing them, only = killing ourselves. It's too bad most Republicans don't get it. They only see $'s.

They just don't see that by killing the other lifeforms, they're killing themselves. And for what? So some already incredibly rich Oil Fatcats can get richer? What do they personally get out of that? They're not gonna see those riches. Personally, i'd rather save our fellow lifeforms. The Oil Fatcats are fat enough.

Some fucking losers are so obsessed with their dickless fear of skin color that they feel compelled to inject their idiotic slurs into every thread, no matter the topic.

I love the photo they used, to implicate it is the END OF THE WORLD!

Why do you love something that caused a lot of damage?

I think some of these clowns should rethink this. Rexx from longboat key, do you want your area to look like the gulf coast did in 2010, how about the mouth of the Mississippi, how about the nasty waters off Texas coast? Gulf Coast and Atlantic seafood is shipped all over the nation. How many of you have eaten Gulf Coast seafood in the past 7 years? How many ate it within the first two years after the spill? Have you seen some of the worker's that cleaned up the Gulf Coast beaches and their diseases? La, Ms, Al, Fl gulf coast, anyone vacation here since 2010? You know what chemical's may still be in the water? They used killer sprays right after the spill. Anyway keep coming down on vacation's. Open up the drilling in Atlantic off Florida coast, let it flow and accidents's happen.

:boohoo:

Yes, it is very sad. Human Beings are killing themselves off. And for what? To make a few Oil Fatcats fatter? Is it worth it?

Are they? I suggest you take a look at the coastal communities of La, Ms, Al, NW Florida and get back to me.

You're dumb as a cardboard box so you don't know that Obama does not own it. Nor are you smart enough to know that the rest of what you wrote is horse shit.

What is wrong with you RWNJs that you always act to harm yourselves, your family, your country and your planet?

Prosperity is crucial in making America great again. Drilling in these specific areas will help us get there.

Yes....prosperity is crucial. Like the prosperity derived from the fishing industries and coastal tourism which many communities depend on and which are directly affected by off shore drilling.

It's a matter of balance.

The fact that you are gleeful over this - in a time where we have a glut of energy and record low profits is pretty much proof you don't give a shit about either pollution or a wise balance between energy production and environmental protection.
We are gleeful because we want to see people go back to work and economies boom. We are gleeful because we understand the importance of a restrained government. Dumbass.

Realky. Explain to me how it kills people off to resist unconstitutional government oppression and reject government control?

Our government is the reason fishing is restricted. They just shut everything down here based on a fuzzy and unfounded prediction that numbers might be low. If government restrictions protect fish, why the fuck do the numbers keep allegedly dropping? Pssst....they don't and the restrictions do nothing but destroy our industries.

So how are oil spills going to increase your fish numbers?

The prosperity is down because of Capitalists, Liberals, and Jews who think bringing in illegals, spouting feminism, and outsourcing jobs for mega-profits is amazing.

sanctuaries ... key word.

not at all surprised idiots cant spell consecrated, much less know the meaning of the word.

Trump have respect for a sanctuary? That low life, low class, son of a bitch ? Surely ye jest !

All lefties are racist.

indeed that much is obvious

Corexit[1] (often styled COREXIT)[2] is a product line of oil dispersants used during oil spill response operations. It is produced by Nalco Company, associated with BP and Exxon and an indirect subsidiary of Ecolab.[3] Corexit was originally developed by the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey.[4] Corexit is typically applied by aerial spraying or spraying from ships directly onto an oil slick. On contact with the dispersant, oil that would otherwise float on the surface of the water is emulsified into tiny droplets and sinks or (in the unusual case of sub-surface application) remains suspended in the water. In theory this allows the oil to be more rapidly degraded by bacteria (bioremediation) and prevents it from accumulating on beaches and in marshes.[5][6][7]

Corexit was used in unprecedented quantities during the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico[8] and became the largest use of such chemicals in the United States.[9] In addition to spraying the dispersant onto the surface slick, it was used in an untested, off-label manner when BP injected it at the broken well-head, roughly 5,000 feet below the surface.[10] Researchers continue to examine the effects and effectiveness of Corexit. Studies have so far indicated that the dispersant is toxic to marine life.[11] Corexit has been shown to exert a synergistic effect when mixed with oil, increasing its toxicity.[12]

Dispersants are mixtures of surfactants and solvents that are commonly used to break up floating oil slicks into small droplets, which are submerged underwater. This reduces shoreline accumulation but increases the amount of oil underwater. This also increases the surface area of the oil and, in theory, accelerates the destruction of oil by naturally occurring bacteria.[6] Dispersants are themselves a form of pollution that can be toxic to marine life, and the increased activity of bacteria from their presence can deplete oxygen in nearby waters, causing further harm to marine life.[6][13] There are important trade-offs that must be considered in their use, such as the relative level of toxicity of the dispersant versus the relative toxicity of the spilled oil, to ensure that dispersant use mitigates an oil spill rather than to make the problem worse.[13]

Corexit products have been used in oil spill response activities since the late 1960s.[14] Early products in the line included Corexit 7664[4]and Corexit 8666. Corexit 9527 is one of the first modern concentrate dispersants and has been in use since the mid 1970s. Corexit 9500 was designed to replace Corexit 9527. In 2002, Corexit 9527 and Corexit 9500 were the only two chemical dispersants stockpiled in large quantities in the U.S.A.[15]

An estimated 2.5 million gallons of chemicals were used in response to the supertanker SS Torrey Canyon oil spill in the United Kingdom in 1967.[16] The incident harmed marine life and triggered the first significant international public discussions regarding chemical dispersants' toxicity including the costs and benefits of its deployment.[17][18]
