In the real world, you're just another clueless stooge for the fossil fuel industry, parroting their propaganda that is deliberately designed to panic people about wind turbines while diverting attention from the much, much, much greater negative environmental damage caused by the extraction, processing/refining, transport, and use of fossil fuels.

When a wind farm replaces a fossil fuel power plant, the net environmental damage decreases.

Actually, understanding what is happening with our planet is all about intelligence and accurate knowledge, two things you are very obviously sadly lacking in, you clueless Ho.

BTW, 36 years in which industry....the oil and gas industry? No wonder your head is filled with so much garbage and misinformation.

The fact is, fossil fuel powered electrical generation kills far more birds and does far more environmental damage, not even counting the global warming aspect, than wind turbines do, so every operational wind farm, by replacing some portion of the fossil fuel use, has a net positive effect on the environment and avian mortality, more than offsetting what relatively little damage they might do.

Admittedly there is a problem at some wind farms with the raptor deaths, but those problems can be mitigated or even largely eliminated through the technological improvements that are starting to be incorporated into the designs and through more careful siting of the turbines.

The real reason for most of the attacks on wind power is its effect on the profits of the fossil fuel industry, not its effect on the environment or birds.

The entire environmental movement has always been the #1 vehicle for the destruction of the capitalistic system and private enterprise. Every single AGW devotee in here could not give a rats ass about the climate or the environment. It is about clinging desperately to the established narrative of global warming........if everybody in the United States did, our government would have control of all means of production. These cretins are in denial and manufacturing excuses like a Chinese Nike factory..
They toss these deaths/GWhr around like hand grenades. Not even questioning how they are
arrived at. First off -- they use the PLACARDED specs for installed wind that NO TURBINE ever acheives. In fact -- only the BEST wind farms ever acheive a THIRD of those numbers. Making their comparisons completely bogus.

Second -- there are not raptors getting killed by nuclear plants. There are no headless, wingless bodies or critters with exploded hearts laying around the grounds of a nuclear plant. If there ARE fatalities -- they are from the transmission end of the plant which is SIMILIAR to a wind farm. And it takes DOZENS MORE of these electrical conditioning facilities to get the SAME amount of power from wind as for ONE nuclear plant. IN FACT, when you add in the inevitable HUGE battery farms that these windmills WILL REQUIRE -- the situation gets even more dire considering the MOUNTAINS of toxic materials mined, manufactured and recycled from those storage barns..

And THIRD -- they are still stuck on the Avian death comparisons. A coal plant does not DENY HABITAT for the territorial species that eventually be decimated by wind farms. That is primarily what this argument is about from an enviro standpoint.. NOT comparing to drunk birds running into windows, or vultures getting hit by cars trying to pull a road pizza out of traffic.

It's sick and devious to hear these excuses pile up when all we're asking for is EQUAL ENFORCEMENT of the laws and a better review before siting wind farms. To be accused of being BOUGHT by fossil fuel because we ASK for these things --- is their resort at marginalizing US and the MAJORITY of enviro orgs who NOW REALIZE --- they've severely underestimated the problems and have been duped by their agendas.
