This articles seems to indicate that the new Saudi king is using the lessons learned in Yemen to improve his troops and their goals. They're forming coalitions to fight against Iranian backed rebels. This supposes he might turn to Syria when the action in Yemen is successful.



Why not? Someone needs to step up in the Middle East. The main question is what will the Saudis do against the Islamic State? If anything.

It would be nice if Saudi Arabia fought there own wars, rather than getting us to do it for them.

Saudi arabia has a very big problem ------essentially its problem is islam which has never gotten over the tribal nature of
arabia. Saudi arabia has lots of "tribes" after its throat-----all Shiites and Al Quaeda and Isis and allah knows what other
tribe would like to GRAB the big black rock and be KING OF THE HILL for all of the "ummah". In order to understand,
a bit of Islamic history helps------its a game of "kill the king and OWN the kingdom---------the yearly HADJ------was invented
in order to centralize POWER amongst muslims------he who OWNS the rock is KING OF THE HILL

No one is "rebelling" in Yemen------there is a Shiite minority in Yemen that Iran is USING-----
They have been arming them and bribing and propagandizing them for YEARS-----and finally
managed to help them -----with HEZBOLLAH reinforcements -----to grab several of the most
important cities in Yemen------the capital SANAA and the two port cities ADEN AND TAIZ.
For the record------with control of the PORTS Iran can blockade the straits of Hormuz and create a
disaster for lots and lots of shipping for THE WORLD ------for the record----there is OIL around Aden----
as yet untapped
