Will Republicans ever learn? Indiana governor to sign bill allowing business not to serve gays

Brown, Indiana doesn't have a public accommodation law protecting gays.
Yes, we need to extend PA laws to civil rights bill. Separate issue.

If Indiana does not have PA laws protecting gays, then again, that's their right ATM.

Just as this bill does not apply to existing PA laws in Indiana, it also does not apply to non-existent PA laws in Indiana either.
It says in Indiana you can fire the gays for being gay. NOBODY should be ok with that.
That sucks. Still not germane to this bill. You could argue it was more important to pass a PA law for gays than this first amendment law for everyone. But that does not make this law a bad law. It just points out, at best the level of priority being given religious groups over gay groups.

Cuomo bans nonessential travel to Indiana due to religious freedom law Crain s New York Business

(Bloomberg) -- New York is hoping on board the Indiana travel boycott.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday that he was banning New York state employees from traveling to Indiana because of the passage of that state's Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which critics say can be used to discriminate against gays and lesbians.

"Today, I direct all agencies, departments, boards and commissions to immediately review all requests for state funded or state sponsored travel to the State of Indiana and to bar any such publicly funded travel that is not essential to the enforcement of state law or public health and safety. The ban on publicly funded travel shall take effect immediately," Mr. Cuomo said in his statement.

New York now becomes the third state to ban its employees from enjoying non-essential "Hoosier hospitality." On Monday, Connecticut Gov. Dannell Malloy signed an executive order banning state-funded travel to Indiana, as did Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee.

The bottom line: government enforced Jim Crow. It was the result of private businesses being allowed to make their own choices about who to serve.

Bottom line is the Government did not do this in a vacuum by itself...it did that on behalf of minds like yours that figure you are special and entitled and superior ...that was what Jim crow was for to give aid and comfort to creatures of contempt like you...

It doesn't matter how the law got passed. The bottom line is that business owners discriminated only because the government forced them to. And now Nazis like you try to use that as justification for persecuting business owners who don't want to attend gay weddings. That's what public accommodation laws are for, to give aid and comfort to Nazis like you and queers who want to force people to accept their lifestyle. Calling me a bigot doesn't alter the facts.

If you had good arguments, you wouldn't have to resort to these Nazi bullying tactics. You're not one iota better than the thugs who smashed in the windows of Jewish shops during KristalNacht.

Here's you agenda:

No.

"NASCAR is disappointed by the recent legislation passed in Indiana." NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Brett Jewkes

Stating that you are "disappointed" is not the same as condemning. Just points out how utterly easy it is to convince idiots to march off a cliff.

It is amazing how ignorant all you liberals are about the law itself.....How is this law discriminative?????????????? It isn't it. It just says a person of religion has the right to have his day in court if he is being forced or discriminated against to do something against his religious belief... Levin said made a analogy that was spot on.....Would all you liberals be okay with forcing a Orthodox Jew OBGYN doctor in performing abortions without having his day in court? Or a Muslim restaurant from being forced to serve bacon without their day in court? Instead all you idiots keep spouting the same nonsense you hear on TV without even knowing the facts......READ THE LAW YOU FOOLS!
