The Post and Courier - S.C. State work not evident - Charleston SC - postandcourier.com
The last 14 years, South Carolina State University, between Columbia and Charleston, has been getting upwards of $100,000,000 in funding for the "James Clyburn Transportation Center" which was in honor of the fraud politician James Clyburn (he helped get that funding the last 2.5 decades) to meant to be a global center of transportation research.
In the 14 years.....the progress in construction has been a single trailor in the middle of a grass field. SCSU can't explain where the money has gone. Embezzlement? Salaries? Theft? Slush fund? This was the same college whose corruption ended the college football "Bulldog Heritage Classic" when it was learned SCSU had been taking the money and using it improperly.
So, SCSU had told the fed investigators that construction was to begin this past Wednsday. Did it? Well, the grass grew higher and the trailor is still there. SCSU, Clyburn, no one can say where the money from the feds went. Millions and millions. Probably embezzled or raided as a slush fund. The feds want to know where their money went. There is nothing to show for the $100,000,000.
Will Eric Holder and the Obama Admin prosecute?
PS: SCSU is an all-black school. Wait and see.
