BREAKING: Donald Trump gets shockingly bad news as the state of New Hampshire announces that it is "now carefully reviewing the legal issues involved" behind calls to remove Trump's name from the state's 2024 ballot — an apocalyptic scenario for the former president.

In a bombshell joint statement, New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella and Secretary of State David M. Scanlan stated that they are "aware of public discourse regarding the potential applicability" of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

This particular section disqualifies those who have taken an oath to support the Constitution from ever running for office again if they have "engaged in insurrection or rebellion."

Some Republicans are even pushing for Trump's removal from the ballot. Bryant "Corky” Messner, a Senate nominee who was actually endorsed by Trump, used the Amendment section to question Trump's eligibility.

While Formella and Scanlan insist that no decision has yet been made, the mere fact that this idea is now being publicly floated by the state's top officials is a terrible sign for MAGA.

The simple fact is that Trump should be barred from holding office ever again. He's a traitor and given the chance he will try to overthrow our democracy again.

I applaud New Hampshire for considering it. According to the 14th Amendment, Article 3, no state should allow Trump to run for president in 2024.

Interesting but I don't put much stock in Trump being kept off the ballot. Seems to me this is simply an exercise in diligence performing the functions that come with their jobs.

Left-wing and right-wing leaning writings punctuated by "shockingly", "apocalyptic", "bombshell", etc. strike me as mere attempts to bamboozle the reader.

Wow, they sure don’t have any confidence in beating Trump at the ballot box, or in court, or in jail! So now they have to get his name off the ballot.

That's gotta rattle Trump.

When your governance is so off putting to people there’s only one option. Deny them the ability to choose something else.

The party claiming to want democracy wants nothing of the sort.

These secretaries of state aren't gonna get away with assuming constitutional authority that they simply do not have to change election laws like they did last time when the derelict Republican legislatures passed on their constitutionally delegated responsibility to them.

And nobody's gonna buy the COVID nonsense all over again that they used to justify it. Though, not surprisingly, the usual suspects are trying to re-establish that fear porn all over again, now that the election cycle draws closer.

And they know it.

So. They're scrambling.

It's really telling that these secretaries of state are still at it, though.

Yep....it's all the Republicans.

This has been the plan all along.

Using the 14th Amendment, even though it doesn't apply.....keep charging Trump with crimes but never charging him with insurrection. Just have CNN and MSNBC repeat that Trump led an insurrection.

That's why they staged Jan 6th.

They wanted to make sure the top Republican candidate was removed from the ballot.

Can you say 'ELECTION INTERFERENCE'!!!!!

Democrats are bringing in Covid lockdowns and mass mail-in ballots, roll out beginning in September, without Trump as an option.

What these states decide is meaningless
