Why the nazis turned out to be the germans and not the british or americans?

I should think they did , as he was Jewish on both sides .
As were so many of his political elite and top military .

Even the mainstream has had to latterly admit that Dear Uncle came from a Jewish father and mother .
Ironic .
the root of nazism is GREEK----the Romans worshipped the greek "culture" and chose to
adopt only the worst of it. Germany is the spawn of the 'HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE"

The root of Nazism is fascism as defined by Mussolini himself in his "Doctrine of Fascism".

right----the original fascists were ---Greeks---most specifically but not limited to the Spartans.
Read Plato's 'Republic'

so? IL duce wrote a limerick. The greeks created the notion of the GREEK SUPER-RACE---the rightful rulers of the world

the spartan city state might have been an oligarchy nominally in charge of an army and a docile work force, or as republicans call it "our agenda."

plato is interesting because he did influence the founders.

Plato--(kinda like mussolini) described all non-greeks as BARBARIANS--to be enslaved and considered to be nothing more than
'animated furniture' GREEK 'culture' was to be rendered supreme. --then came the HOLEY MOLEY ROMAN EMPIRE. --first reich. --today the big time UBER ALLES person is Erdogan---although POOTIE is afflicted with a fair dose

But I think the difference is that nazism is socialist that means collectivist and with a authoritarian Leader, Hitler. English dont believe so much in that. They have strong parliamantery, capitalist, and liberal tradition, despite being racist.

Actually, you have to look at the history of Fascism itself and not just Nazism.

It must be remembered that Fascism was conceived by a fanatical Communist, who ultimately was also a Nationalist. In fact, it was that conflict between International Socialism and those who were both Socialist and Nationalists that caused the split between the two. Not unlike the Socialists in China. Both the Kuomintang and CCP are Socialist governments. But one is Nationalist, the other is Internationalist. And Hitler directly patterned the NSDAP almost directly on the Italian Fascist Party. Itself formed when the Nationalist Mussolini was ejected from leadership of the Italian Communist Party.

However, both the UK and by descent their child the United States had a great hatred of Totalitarianism. Both nations believed strongly in Personal Choice and other key freedoms like Religion and Speech. This can especially be seen in the United States, who even held an election during a Civil War. Not many nations would ever attempt that, instead the leadership simply cancelling the election and remaining in power and ruling by fiat.

So no, it is not surprising at all. I would not expect to see either the UK or US ever fall to some kind of Totalitarian government, either Right or Left wing.

you are very confused----you seem to imagine that the BRITISH invented the "AGE OF REASON" ---but that's ok----long ago I was in college with a GREEK nationalist who INSISTED that the greeks founded monotheism

You say something similar as me, then you give me "disagree" thumbs down on my comment, Makes no sense.

"Similar" is nowhere even close to "the same". What you posted was largely politicized and biased coprolite. And in my response I corrected your very vague and inaccurate statements with the reality and not a slanted view of them.
