we are told change is inherently virtuous. those who oppose it are bigots. we must celebrate the fact that a nation that was overwhelmingly European, Christian, & English speaking has become a place with no ethnic majority, immense religious pluralism, & no universally shared culture. its called diversity. its our highest value.
