Why is Obama going after Trump?

Those of us who have spent a lifetime in the blue collar sector remember that about twenty five years ago we were called by company officials to a meeting announcing that all pensions offered to employees would end. Today most workers get only a rickety 401k that hangs in the wind of an uncertain economy.

The pensions were taken away so industry in the US could locate globally in places where pensions, healthcare and safe environmental standards are non-existent. This is how globalization works and NAFTA was just a first step in stealing the benefits and industrial heritage of American workers by Congress so they could funnel money to themselves as they enriched shareholders in American company stocks.

The only way to make globalization work is to impoverish average workers in the US and Congress thought that was a great idea but of course it was only a great idea for workers not themselves. The figures for 2014 reveal that the average congressional pension is about $140,000 a year on top of the huge social Security benefits they get for making a salary of $174,000.

Obama’s signature accomplishment, The Affordable Care Act, was a disaster that would have destroyed health insurance in America and ushered Americans into a third world healthcare system so the first thing Congress did was to go into back rooms with lawyers and craft a technicality to allow them to impose the ACA onto the people but escape the calamity themselves.

They removed themselves from their own healthcare package and subjected themselves to the ACA in 2010 but only on paper. When the phase-in actually occurred in 2014 Suddenly Congress was a “small business” qualifying it for generous subsidies that average people can never get.

The elites in the US Congress betrayed American workers by taking away their pensions and destroying their health insurance while they voted themselves generous pensions and used a technical subterfuge to slither out of the ACA. That’s one reason why Donald Trump got elected.

Realizing the jig might be up elites resorted to sedition and concocted a desperate kabuki cartoon theater using utterly false information to trick a FISA Court and launch an investigation. Obama is out there to assure the fools that voted for him that it’s all just part of the show and hope there’s no investigation of the real crooks.
